We tracked Cuarzo, a solitary adult, during 32 days. During this time Cuarzo remained in Golfo Nuevo traveling along the northern and western coasts. He also visited the mouth of the gulf a few times near Morro Nuevo and the adjoining waters of the continental shelf. Cuarzo was in the southernmost section of the gulf, in the area of Punta Ninfas, when transmissions stopped.
