Rigel´s tracking route

Rigel is a solitary juvenile tagged the same day as Fenix. A week after being tagged, Rigel left Golfo Nuevo heading south towards the Blue Hole. After traveling 400 kilometers (249 miles), at the latitude of Puerto Deseado, this whale remained various days  in an area of the continental shelf visited by other whales in the previous season (Metido and “69”). After 32 days Rigel’s transmissions stopped.
