Oberon´s tracking route
Oberon and her calf traveled widely within Golfo Nuevo, even venturing to the entrance to the gulf on the southern shore. Oberon’s short-duration transmitter set a record of 37 days sending data. They were resighted four times by our follow up team before they left the gulf on November 6. They arrived at the continental slope opposite Peninsula Valdés four days later and then, on November 11th, we lost contact with these travelers.
